The Board of Directors of the Nevada Federation of Democratic Women (NVFDW) has launched the inaugural Annual Political Short Film Contest on Friday, December 1, 2023.

Jack C. Davis Observatory's lecture series focusing on topics in astronomy and science continues on Saturday night, Nov. 18. Observatory volunteer Robert Anderson will present a discussion on "The Rise of the Reflector." His presentation will cover a history of lens-type telescopes and how and why they became larger and larger.

The Ferris Mansion, home of George Washing Gale Ferris, Jr., Carson City Historical Building Ornament collectable for 2023 is now available in time for the holidays.
