UPDATE NOON: I-580 through Washoe Valley northbound lanes now open. Southbound lanes remain closed.
US-395 Alt through the valley remains closed due to stranded vehicles, icy conditions.

UPDATE: While much of the weekend winter storm has passed, it has left a number of road closures Monday morning across Northern Nevada, including I-580 through Washoe Valley. For those hoping to get over the Sierra via I-80 over Donner Pass, it is now opened as of late Monday morning.
Carson City School District, Western Nevada College on 2-hour weather delay Monday

Buses will also operate on a 2-hour delay, so arrival times will be approximately 2-hours later than usual. There will be no Pre-School classes or breakfast served at school.
