Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space seek volunteers for 'Park Ambassador' program
Carson City has more than 800 acres of parks. That's why Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space is seeking volunteers to assist with the day-to-day operations in our parks.
The Park Ambassador program provides additional support to Carson City Park’s staff and will be an on the ground resource for our department. Ambassadors’ will have the opportunity help keep an eye on our parks. Individuals, groups, and families are encouraged to apply.
Our Parks staff have shifting priorities during the day and the CCPROS department appreciates volunteers who are able to assist with some of the day-to-day operations at each of our parks/open spaces.
Ambassadors will be provided the tools and skills necessary for this volunteer opportunity.
We are currently seeking volunteers for John Mankins, Ross Gold and Park Terrace. If you love these parks and visit them often, this is an excellent opportunity to get outside and give back to these parks.
