“Dr.” Sisolak: racism is a public health crisis (opinion)

“Dr.” Sisolak the good Democrat: racism is a public health crisis.

https://carsonnow.org/story/08/06/2020/nevada-governor-proclaims-racism-...

http://gov.nv.gov/News/Proclamations/2020/Racism,_as_a_Public_Health_Cri...

With this proclamation, the governor has perpetrated the most egregious insult of all Nevadans. He has also perpetrated the most egregious assault on fact, law and common sense.

Well,.... he should be appropriately celebrated for all that, and because he hasn’t provided any proof in the proclamation, I hereby offer some facts in support that I have personally observed and researched.

““structural racism has resulted in race as a social determinant of health, with persistent racial disparities in criminal justice, housing, education, health care, employment, worker protections, climate, food access, and technology””

Yes, I have personally observed specific instances and found in the NRS the specific laws that prove that Nevada government policy is to promote white privilege and white supremacy in all those matters that the governor enumerated, and to specifically exempt anyone from prosecution for engaging in those acts; specifically,
* I have observed receptionists in doctor’s offices rudely tell colored minority patients to get lost. I have observed doctors refusing to see colored minority patients. I have seen pharmacists refuse to fill prescriptions presented by colored minority patients.
* I have observed sheriff deputies randomly pull over and beat the sh.. out of colored minority drivers. I have seen judges impose maximum sentences for minor offenses on colored offenders, but let whites guilty of brutal crimes walk free.
* I have seen landlords tell non-whites they don’t have vacancies, then immediately rent to whites. I’ve seen colored applicants for section 8 being told to forget it.
* I’ve observed qualified colored job applicants being told there are no jobs, then whites being given the same job. And injured colored workers being told not to bother to file a workers comp claim.
* Many times I’ve seen grocery clerks chase away colored mothers with beautiful babies in their arms, not let them shop even for milk...
* And technology? Don’t even bother trying to buy a computer if you’re not white. Or get an IT job, or get a passing grade in any STEM class, or....
* Why, even God likes only white people. I’ve seen severe wind and thunder storms hit the homes of colored people, while the white people’s house next door was bathed in beautiful calm sunshine.

“”racism manifests in distinct ways across other social intersections including gender identity, sexual orientation, class, disability, immigration status and age, and collectively reinforces the racial hierarchy””

Yes, I have personally observed specific instances and found in the NRS the specific laws that prove that Nevada government policy is to promote white privilege and white supremacy by putting white LGBTQ ahead of all other LGBTQ, white working class people ahead of even upper class non-whites, white immigrants ahead of non-white immigrants, and so on.

“”social determinants of health have a disproportionate impact on communities of color, including increased exposure to environmental hazards, poor air quality, lack of safe places to recreate, lack of mental health services and lack of educational and career opportunities””

Yes, I have personally observed specific instances and found in the NRS the specific laws that prove that Nevada government policy is to locate housing, commercial and industrial development projects on superfund dumps and other environmentally hazardous sites, provided that they deliberately and specifically require that only colored minorities will be allowed as occupants.
It is also Nevada government policy to deliberately and specifically deny colored minorities access to mental health services, enroll in public school or college, and if they make it past those hurdles, then to deny them employment and especially career opportunities in the public of private sector.

Yes it’s all there in the Nevada Constitution, Article 1, section 69, the white privilege and supremacy clause, and in the NRS, Title 69, White Privilege and White Supremacy Forever.

“”the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the racial disparities within Nevada's racial/ethnic communities ranging from health care access to risk exposure and hospitalization””

Yes, the CCP virus has been devilishly bioengineered to be such such a clever biological weapon that it selectively and specifically targets melanin-enriched populations. But not if they engage in protest, peaceful or otherwise. Then even whites are not at risk. Except when they go to church. THEN they WILL be infected and die. Lost friends that way.

“”more than 100 studies have linked racism to negative health outcomes””

Yes, and you can find them all on FakeNews&BlatantLiesForever.com

No? Well, of course not.... what have we fought for in the 1960s, what have the past five or more decades been about, if not stamping out the last shreds of the private and official prejudice of the KKK and Jim Crow Democrats? Except,....

There is indeed official but illegal discrimination in health care which is indeed a public health crisis that actually KILLS people of all colors, classes, sexes, whatever. It’s the very first act of “Dr.” Sisolak the governor in response to the CCP virus pandemic, which was
(1) to shut the state down and immediately throw a third of Nevada’s workers out of work, and
(2) to make it illegal to prescribe and dispense the only medicine that saves 100% of the milder cases and 62% of the severe cases, namely, hydroxychloroquine + zinc + azithromycin.
NOW THERE IS AN ACT BY A STATE GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL THAT IS INDEED A PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS. But gee oh gosh, it’s not evidence of systemic racism, unless .... Unless you consider discrimination against Jewish doctors, old people, conservatives and Trump supporters to be racist too.

Maybe the governor’s proclamation should be rewritten, so it’s not just phony woke political posturing and baseless propaganda in an election year.

Today I started pruning out the water sprouts in my four crabapple trees. Some people might call these “suckers,” but suckers grow up from the bottom of the trunk and water sprouts grow in the upper parts of the tree. I have been training three of these trees into a somewhat flattened umbrella shape for almost 20 years. The water sprouts just ruin that effect. So, out they come.
