Wylder Hotel Hope Valley hosts Campfire Interpretive Programs about George Whittell, the Forests of the Sierras
Wylder Hotel Hope Valley continues its interpretive campfire programs on Eastern Sierra history with a living history/Chautauqua style presentation on one of Lake Tahoe’s most colorful characters, George Whittell: “Accidental Conservationist.”
The 50-minute program is on Saturday November 27 at 2 p.m., is free and open to the public.
On Sunday November 28, at 10 a.m., using the words of John Muir, Eastern Sierra historian David Woodruff will take guests on a 50-minute look into the “Magnificent Forests of the Sierra Nevada.”
There is no charge for this program and is also open to all.
In case of inclement weather, programs will be held inside the heated tent.
