Stabbing suspect in custody, victim flown to Reno
UPDATE 12:30AM: From Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong regarding Wednesday night's stabbing: At approximately 9:33 p.m. Wednesday the Carson City Sheriff’s Office was informed of a juvenile male, age 17, that had been stabbed during an altercation at the corner of Colorado and Arizona streets in south Carson City. Sheriff’s deputies and paramedics located the victim at a nearby residence with a severe wound to the stomach. The juvenile was transported by Care Flight to Renown Medical Center.
Witnesses assisted officers in the identification of the suspect, another 17 year old juvenile. After deputies made contact with several residents in the area, it was determined that the juvenile had fled to a north Carson City address. At approximately 10:13 p.m., the suspect and a juvenile associate were located attempting to flee from the Northridge subdivision area. Both were taken into custody after a traffic stop at the corner of Longridge and Northridge Drive.
At the time of this release, all of the witnesses and suspect are being interviewed at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office by detectives. The current condition of the victim is not immediately known.
UPDATE 10:45PM: The victim of a stabbing Wednesday night has been taken by CareFlight to Renown Medical Center in Reno. The victim is believed to be male and their condition is unknown.
Carson City sheriff's deputies are interviewing witnesses to the stabbing, reported at around 9:30 p.m. The status of the suspects, possibly all juveniles, is that they are still at large. Carson City dispatch could not confirm that three had been detained after reportedly being pulled over at 10:14 p.m. in a black SUV on Northridge and New Ridge.

A stabbing to report tonight on Arizona Circle in Carson City. A juvenile was reportedly stabbed Wednesday night with three suspects, possibly all juveniles, apparently on the loose.
The victim was reportedly bleeding and not breathing. CareFlight has been called to respond. The call came into dispatch at around 9:30 p.m.
The suspects are believed to have fled on foot. Authorities are searching areas near Seeliger Elementary School.
