Greater Nevada Credit Union awards $60,000 in scholarships statewide, $22,000 to Carson City area grads

Tazmanian Boxing debuts Carson City youth at recent USA Boxing event

Alfredo Carrasco Jr., and Jose Bedoy, got a chance to debut their boxing skills. Both displayed a lot of heart, skill and integrity, according to their trainers.
'Atlas Shrugged Part I' - politcs as a movie, and not very good

The opening was overshadowed by the first-night celebration the V&T's No. 18 steam locomotive in "Water for Elephants," an average romance-plus-disaster film.
