Nevada land agencies reduce some fire restrictions, will allow campfires in designated places

The reduced fire restrictions will allow campfires in designated campground areas within Nevada.

The Painted Rock Mine is a proposed commercial gravel pit operation east of the Johnson Lane Community.

The program is designed for businesses holding a valid business license within Carson City are eligible to apply for personal protective equipment (PPE) and sanitation supplies in order to facilitate compliance with public health measures.
Through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, funding from the Coronavirus Relief Fund will help Carson City cover the immediate impacts of the COVID-19 emergency and its continued response and recovery efforts.
