Nevada Humane Society, Carson City’s Pet of the Week: Valkerye
Nevada Humane Society, Carson City branch's Pet of the Week is Valkerye, a one-year-old shepherd mix who still has a big puppy heart. She enjoys playing with children as she is used to living with them.
However, she can be a little shy around new people and unfamiliar dogs. Therefore, she will probably feel more comfortable in a home that does not have a lot of people coming and going.
It would also be best to introduce her to any other dogs and children living in the house beforehand to ensure they all get along well and have a comfortable environment. Valkerye’s loving heart and playful spirit make her a joy to be around and the perfect addition to any loving home!
Here is what Valkerye has to say: “Hey there, I'm Valkerye, and let me tell you, I'm just a big ol' puppy at heart! Playing is my jam, especially when I'm surrounded by my favorite people. Now, I have to admit, I can be a bit cautious around strangers, but give me a second, and I'll warm right up. When it comes to other dogs, I might be a tad wary at first, but once we've exchanged a few sniffs, I'm all about the playdates! Could you be the one to open your heart and home to me? I promise to fill your life with tail wags, cuddles, and unconditional love!”
The best news is that Valkerye’s adoption fee is waived this week! You can meet her at the Carson City Nevada Humane Society at 549 Airport Road, Carson City or by calling (775) 887-2171 to learn more. We are open every day from 11:00 am-6:30 pm.
