Campagni Group of Carson City donates candy to Governor's Mansion for trick-or-treating
The Campagni Auto Group of Carson City generously donated 8 large bags of Halloween candy to keep the tradition alive of the Governor and First Lady handing out Halloween treats to the thousands of children who arrive at the mansion on Halloween for a special treat and photo.
Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak and First Lady Kathy Sisolak continue to keep the tradition alive that began with Governor Grant Sawyer and First Lady Bette Sawyer in 1959 and is a much beloved event.
"The First Lady and I always look forward to welcoming trick-or-treaters to the Governor's Mansion, and we're tremendously grateful to the Campagni Auto Group of Carson City to generously donate 8 large bags of Halloween candy," said Governor Sisolak. "We can't wait to see so many of our Carson City neighbors and friends at the Mansion!"
Trick or Treating at the Governor’s Mansion and throughout the city will be held on October 31 and is the birthday of Nevada’s statehood.
