RENO — The Northern Nevada community is invited to join friends, parents, children and those affected directly by bleeding disorders during the Nevada Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation’s UNITE for Bleeding Disorders Walk and 5K on September 22, 2018, at Bartley Ranch.

Carson City Soroptimist will feature Norma Ruelas from the Family Support Council of Douglas County at its Program Meeting, Wednesday, August 22, from noon to 1 p.m. at Glen Eagles. The meeting is open to the public, with prior reservation required.

CARSON CITY — More than 115 Carson High School Career and Technical Education, Health Occupations Students of America shined in the Nevada State Leadership Conference held at the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, Nev. last month.
